Pulse Tracking

Service information

Technical information for an optional Google Ads web tracking-request service.

Service status: this source describes the planned Pulse product and URL version 1. The tracking-request event schema target is version 2.0.0 and is not verified as integrated or deployed here. This page does not establish that a tracker or this website is deployed, that Google has certified it, or that Privacy or legal owners have approved it. Do not use it to configure a live campaign.

Scope

Pulse v1 is designed for fixed-destination Google Ads Search campaigns on the web. It is an optional mode in SignalBeacon Link Master. It is not a general-purpose URL shortener, a fraud filter, or a conversion-delivery service.

The design excludes dynamic destination selection, other advertising networks, tracker nesting, advertiser CNAMEs, automatic campaign edits, user fingerprinting, and blocking suspected traffic.

How it is designed to work

Google Ads receives three separate URL fields: the advertiser's final landing URL, its final URL suffix, and a tracking template. The template carries a visible redirection_url for the immediate next hop.

The tracker is designed to accept a validated GET or POST tracking request, make a bounded attempt to record one technical tracking_request, and respond with a redirect to the exact accepted destination. The request event does not contain the destination URL, request body, IP address, user agent, referrer, keyword, or arbitrary query parameters. The tracker must not replace the destination with a backend-configured URL. A tracking request or Google click identifier does not prove that an ad click occurred, that Google attributed a visit, or that Google billed an advertiser.

Tracking-request storage and landing-page measurement are separate. A landing-page match requires the applicable consent and evidence rules; consent is unavailable at the tracker and missing evidence is not treated as consent or as a denied choice.

This site has no contact form or support mailbox. For a campaign-specific question, contact the advertiser's existing campaign owner.
